The central theme is the ongoing struggle between humans and machines. The title references the opening moves of the famous 1997 chess match between Kasparov and IBM’s Deep Blue— a historic moment when AI defeated a world champion for the first time.

The production took two months: the first was dedicated to gathering and editing digital footage, exporting frames, while the second focused on developing and printing over 500 frames in cyanotype. The final step involved scanning and assembling the video.
